What Our Customers Say
“The Vegan Class was Brilliant”
The bali cooking class was brilliant. the vegan options on the class were great and everything we made was delicious. All the staff were knowledgeable and made it really fun. The class size was just right, meaning we were able to easily socialize and get help from the instructor. the attention to detail well exceeded our expectations, would definitely recommend!
“Learn the real techniques used for Bali cooking recipes”
After considering multiple options for this cooking class session, I choose Bali Farm for the possibility to do advanced and their claim to be in a village / more remote and typical area. And I was not disappointed at all!
Staff is really knowledgeable and we had the occasion to really practice (better than other where you just watch) and learn the real techniques used for Bali cooking recipes (Use of Bumbu Bali, Sambal, preparation of all the ingredients, that takes a lot of time, before going to cook it, …). I definitely feel comfortable in doing all those recipes on my own when back home.
And moreover, the local market visit with access to real local food, and garden tour in order to discuss the different species, how they grow, and choose fresh ingredients to be used in recipes after that, is definitely a great part of the experience, making it a total out of the world experience.
Thank you so much to all the team for this more than half a day spent in your company.
“The Most Unique of All the Bali Cooking Schools”
I’ve been living in Bali 2 months now and have had the pleasure of taking cooking classes at a few local schools. I wanted to find the perfect school where I could go for a few lessons and perfect my craft.
The Farm Cooking School, hands down, was the best experience. I’ve been back 3x and plan for another 2 visits. Why is it different? The school is located outside of the busy city and in the natural lush green farmland. They provide transportation so no worries there!
The instructors have great English, they are fun, very informative, and really take pride in what they do. You will cook 6 courses, all of them delicious (my favorite though is the sweet and sour tofu – YUM)!
You start each class by walking around the garden and picking your own herbs / vegetables that you will use in your recipes. SO UNIQUE! I have done dozens of cooking schools around the world and this one definitely stands out.
All in all, if you’d prefer to have a tranquil afternoon in a beautiful setting as opposed to walking around busy, crowded markets and then cooking in the middle of the city I’d 100% suggest this school. 5 stars!
