What to Wear?
- Comfortable walking shoes are essential for the rice field walk.
- We recommend light, breathable clothing and Perhaps a light jacket or sweater for the evening coolness. Neutral colors are best for minimizing any potential disturbance to the fireflies.
What to Bring?
- We provide insect repellent, but you may wish to bring your own as well.
- A camera with night photography capabilities is recommended to capture the firefly magic (though nothing truly replaces experiencing it firsthand!).
- A small flashlight or headlamp (with a red light setting if possible, to minimize light pollution) can be helpful for navigating pathways, though we’ll primarily use soft, guided lighting.
Best Time to Visit for Fireflies
Fireflies are generally visible year-round in Bali, but the best viewing is often during the drier months (roughly April to October). Clear, dark nights are ideal. Our tour operates regardless of moon phase, but the darker the night, the more spectacular the firefly display can be.
