The Private Market & Farm Tour
We pick your group up from central Ubud using our free shuttle. If you book the 7:30 AM Morning class, your personal chef takes you on a private tour of the Tegallalang traditional market.
For all class times, we drive you to our family-owned organic farm in Taro Village. You take a private walk through our gardens and harvest the exact vegetables and spices you want to cook directly from the soil.
Cook with Your Own Chef
You do not share a cooking station with strangers. Your group gets a private space in our open-air kitchen. Your personal Balinese chef teaches you how to make traditional Base Gede (spice paste) using a stone mortar.
Because this is a private class, you set the pace. You can ask as many questions as you want while cooking your appetizers, main courses, and dessert.

Option 1: Morning Schedule (Includes Market Visit)
Starts at 7:30 AM. Includes traditional market tour, farm tour, and lunch.
- 1 Person (Solo): Rp 1,000,000
- 2 to 4 People: Rp 800,000 per person
- 5 to 9 People: Rp 700,000 per person
- Large Groups (10 to 50 People): We regularly host corporate retreats, yoga groups, and large family gatherings. Please contact us via WhatsApp or email directly for special discounted volume rates.
Option 2: Afternoon or Evening Schedule
Starts at 12:30 PM or 4:00 PM. Includes farm tour and lunch/dinner.

We use a staggered “cook-eat-cook-eat” schedule so you eat your food hot directly from the wok at your private dining table.
Because you have a private chef, you have full control over what you cook. Below are our two foundational menus.
Please let us know your exact preferences, allergies, or dietary restrictions when booking so we can discuss and tailor the ingredients specifically for your group.
Non-Vegan Menu
- Appetizers: Tempe Asam Manis (Sweet & Sour Tempeh) and Sayur Urab (Vegetable Salad with grated coconut).
- Spice Paste: Base Gede (Traditional Balinese Spice Paste made from scratch).
- Main Courses: Opor Ayam (Balinese Chicken Curry), Sate Lilit (Traditional Minced Meat Satay), and Ayam Sambal Matah (Fried Chicken with a fresh, raw lemongrass and shallot dressing).
- Dessert: Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters) or Bubur Injin (Black Rice Pudding), depending on daily farm availability.
The Vegan & Vegetarian Menu
- Appetizers: Tempe Asam Manis (Sweet & Sour Tempeh) and Gado-Gado (Blanched Vegetables with homemade Peanut Sauce).
- Spice Paste: Base Gede (100% Plant-based Traditional Spice Paste).
- Main Courses: Opor Tempe (Rich Tempeh Curry), Bergedel Jagung (Crispy Balinese Corn Fritters), and Vegan Sate Lilit (Plant-based minced skewers).
- Dessert: Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters) or Bubur Injin (Black Rice Pudding), depending on daily farm availability.
(Note: If you have a mixed group where some people eat meat and others are vegan, your private chef will set up separate ingredients so everyone can cook exactly what they want side-by-side!)

Shuttle Schedule:
- Standard Departure Times: 7:30 AM (Morning), 12:30 PM (Afternoon), or 4:00 PM (Evening).
- Arrival: If using our free shuttle, please arrive at the central Ubud meeting point 10–15 minutes before departure.
- Flexible Arrangements: Because this is a private class, we can often adjust start times or arrange direct hotel pickup (outside of central Ubud) for an additional fee. Please discuss your specific transport and timing needs with us during booking.
Please Note:
- Class Size: 100% Private experience. Whether you are a solo traveler, a couple, or a large group (up to 50 people), you will have your own dedicated chef and private cooking space.
- Dietary Needs: We cater to Regular, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free diets perfectly. Please inform us of any allergies or custom menu requests during booking so we can prepare your private kitchen.
- Accessibility: Not suitable for wheelchair users due to uneven dirt paths and traditional stone steps on the farm.
- Location: Our Taro Village organic farm is strategically located 15 minutes north of the Tegallalang Rice Terraces and 10 minutes from Gunung Kawi Sebatu. If your group is hiring a driver for a Mount Batur (Kintamani) sunrise trek, our farm is the perfect midday stop on your route back to Ubud!
Payment & Cancellation Policy:
Because private classes require us to block out dedicated chefs and private kitchen spaces, we require a slightly stricter policy than our standard classes.
- Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is required to secure your private booking. The remaining 50% balance is due 1 day before (H-1) your class.
- Free Cancellation: Up to 15 days before the class starts (full deposit refund).
- Deposit Forfeited: Cancellation 7 to 14 days in advance (we retain the 50% deposit).
- 100% Fee: Cancellation within 0 to 6 days of the class.
- Date Changes: We offer 2 free date changes if your group’s travel plans shift (subject to availability).
