Taman Dukuh Balinese Cooking Course

Bali Cooking Classes From Nusa Dua

Staying in Nusa Dua and looking for a real Balinese cooking experience, not a quick buffet demo in your hotel?

We host small-group cooking classes on our organic farm in a quiet village outside Ubud. It feels far from the resort area, yet it still works very well as a one-day trip from Nusa Dua if we plan the timing together.

Most guests who join our cooking classes from Nusa Dua like to:

  • Combine a day in Ubud with the cooking class, or
  • Take the Morning Class, then enjoy free time in Ubud afterward

Nusa Dua is ideal for beach days, pools, and resort comforts.

Taman Dukuh is where we slow things down and show how Balinese food begins, right on the farm.

Daily Class Times

We run three farm-based Balinese cooking sessions every day:

  • Morning Class: 07:30 to 14:00
  • Afternoon Class: 12:30 to 18:00
  • Evening Class: 16:00 to 21:00

From Nusa Dua:

  • Afternoon and Evening usually work best with the drive
  • Morning is ideal if you like early starts and plan to stay in Ubud

Travel Time From Nusa Dua

The drive from Nusa Dua to our farm near Ubud usually takes:

  • Around 1.5 to 2 hours in normal traffic
  • A bit longer during busy times or rush hour

To keep the day relaxed, we suggest you combine activities instead of only driving to the farm and straight back to Nusa Dua.
