Our classes take place on an organic farm in a village near Ubud. You can still join us easily from Seminyak if you plan your day well.

Daily Class Times
We run three Balinese cooking sessions every day:
- Morning Class: 07:30 – 14:00
- Afternoon Class: 12:30 – 18:00
- Evening Class: 16:00 – 22:30
From Seminyak:
- Afternoon and Evening are the easiest
- Morning works well if you are happy to start early and then spend the rest of the day in Ubud
Travel Time From Seminyak
The drive from Seminyak to our farm near Ubud can take:
- Around 2–2.5 hours in busy traffic
- Slightly less in lighter traffic
So the best way to enjoy your day is to combine activities, not just drive up and back.

Option 1: Ubud Sightseeing Before Your Class (Afternoon or Evening)
This is the most popular choice from Seminyak.
How it works:
- Leave Seminyak in the morning
- Spend a few hours in Ubud center
- Monkey Forest
- Ubud Palace and temples
- Markets and shops
- Cafes and rice field walks
- Later, your driver brings you to our farm for your cooking class
- After class, drive back to Seminyak
If you do Ubud first, please be at the farm by:
- 13:00 for the Afternoon Class, or
- 17:00 for the Evening Class

Option 2: Morning Class, Then Ubud Tour After
You can also make the Morning Class the start of your Ubud day.
How it works:
- Travel early from Seminyak to Ubud
- Join our Morning Class with market tour
- Finish your class and lunch around early afternoon
- Continue your day in Ubud (monkey forest, temples, cafes, rice terraces)
- Drive back to Seminyak in the late afternoon or evening
This option is perfect if you:
- Are happy to start the day early
- Want the traditional market tour
- Like the idea of exploring Ubud after you cook

From Kuta, Seminyak, or Canggu, you can book:

Morning Class Itinerary (From Ubud Meeting Point)
If you stay in Ubud the night before, you can use our free Ubud shuttle.
1. Ubud Pickup
- Time: between 07:30 and 08:00 am
- Place: Dalem Puri Central Parking, Jalan Sukma (across from Sens Hotel)
Our team (Pak Tut, Taro, or Agus) will meet you there.
2. Local Farmer Market Tour
(Morning class only)
- Length: around 30–40 minutes
- Market: Tegallalang or Pujung traditional market
You will:
- See root spices, fruits, vegetables, cakes, and ceremonial items
- Learn what locals buy for daily use and ceremonies
- Taste local fruits and cakes as a light breakfast
- Take photos of real buying and selling activities
3. Organic Farm Tour & Harvest
- Short 10–20 minute drive from the market to the farm
On the farm you:
- Walk with a basket and knife through our organic fields
- Learn about tropical plants, fruits, and herbs we grow
- Harvest some of the ingredients you will use later
- Enjoy Balinese coffee or herbal tea
Tour time: around 30–40 minutes.
Cooking Session: From Base Gede To Balinese Feast
Hands‑On Cooking
- Every 2 guests share one cooking station
- Cooking area is a wooden or bamboo building surrounded by vegetables and spices
You will:
- Learn about Base Gede, the basic Balinese spice paste
- See and smell all the ingredients
- Put on your apron and start cooking
- Chop, grind, stir, and cook every dish with guidance
“Cook – Eat – Cook – Eat” Style
We want you to enjoy the food while it is fresh.
So we:
- Cook a few dishes
- Eat them together
- Cook the next dishes
- Eat again
You will prepare 5 dishes and 1 dessert, then sit down to enjoy your Balinese feast with the group.
