Escape to the Farm (Icebreaker & Harvesting)
Your event begins away from the heavy traffic of South Bali. Upon arrival at our Taro Village farm, your team is welcomed with local coffee and herbal tea.
The event kicks off with a guided, interactive walk through our organic gardens where colleagues work together to harvest the exact roots, vegetables, and spices they will use to cook.
The Balinese Cooking Challenge
We divide your staff into small, collaborative cooking teams. Each team shares a dedicated cooking station equipped with traditional Balinese tools.
Guided by our expert local chefs, colleagues must communicate and collaborate to grind Base Gede (spice paste) from scratch, mold Sate Lilit onto lemongrass skewers, and balance the complex flavors of Balinese curries.
We can introduce friendly competition elements upon request to see which team creates the best dish.
The Corporate Feast
After the woks are turned off, your team sits down together in our private, open-air dining pavilion overlooking the jungle.
They will eat the 6-course Balinese feast they just cooked, fostering connection and celebration outside of the standard office environment.

- Direct Event Transport: We know moving 50 staff members is complicated. We coordinate directly with your event planner to arrange fleet shuttles or large bus transport directly from your company’s hotel or villa.
Event Schedule:
- Baseline Times: We offer standard start times at 7:30 AM (Morning), 12:30 PM (Afternoon), or 4:00 PM (Evening).
- Flexible Arrangements: Because this is a private facility buyout, your event timeline is fully customizable. We will adjust the start time and duration to perfectly align with your broader corporate retreat itinerary.
Please Note:
- Facility Exclusivity: This is a 100% private event. Your company will have exclusive use of our open-air kitchen, dedicated chefs, and dining pavilion for up to 50 staff members.
- Corporate Dietary Matrices: We seamlessly manage complex group dietary requirements. Please provide your staff’s allergy list (including Halal, Vegan, and Celiac/Gluten-Free) prior to the event so we can prepare dedicated, cross-contamination-free cooking stations.
- Accessibility: Not suitable for wheelchair users due to uneven dirt paths and traditional stone steps on the working farm. Please inform us if any staff members have mobility concerns so we can advise accordingly.
- Location & Bus Parking: Our Taro Village organic farm is located 15 minutes north of the Tegallalang Rice Terraces. Our facility features a dedicated parking area with a safe turn-around space for large 30-seater and 35-seater corporate tourist buses.
- Add-On Activities: You can easily combine your cooking event with a broader Organic Farming Experience for a full-day agricultural retreat.
Payment & Cancellation Policy:
Because corporate events and full facility buyouts require us to block out our entire kitchen and schedule a large, dedicated chef team, we apply a strict B2B payment policy.
- Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is required upon invoicing to secure your requested date. The remaining 50% balance (along with your final headcount and dietary matrix) is due 1 day before (H-1) your event.
- Free Cancellation: Up to 15 days before the event starts (full deposit refund).
- Deposit Forfeited: Cancellation 7 to 14 days in advance (we retain the 50% deposit to cover blocked availability).
- 100% Fee: Cancellation within 0 to 6 days of the event.
- Date Changes: We offer 2 free date changes if your company’s retreat schedule shifts (subject to facility availability).
