The Cooking Experience
Get ready to whip up some yummy Balinese vegan dishes from the very beginning.
You’ll team up with a cooking buddy to make 6 different dishes: 2 starters, 3 mains, and a sweet dessert.
We take it step by step. First, you’ll create the appetizers and eat. Then, you’ll move on to the mains and eat (cook-eat-cook-eat style).
This way, you can enjoy each dish without hurrying.
Our chefs will be there to make sure your food tastes great and to add some fun along the way.

Let’s Get Cook!
In our vegan cooking class, you’ll get to make and taste 6 unique dishes, plus your own curry paste. Between cooking, you’ll enjoy the delicious meals you’ve prepared.
Start By Two Appetizers
Let’s kick off with our vegan version of the classic Gado-Gado Salad, drizzled with a rich Peanut Sauce.
This crunchy salad features fresh veggies picked right from our garden. You get to choose how hot you want it by tweaking the peanut sauce’s spice level.
Think you can take on the heat with 5 chilies, just like the locals?
Next up, we’ll show you how to whip up some sweet and sour tempeh that’s absolutely mouthwatering.
Salad and Appetizer Dishes
Savor Your First Vegan Creations
Take a moment to relax and enjoy the first two vegan dishes you’ve crafted. We’ll have a tasty break before diving into the next cooking adventure!
Now Let’s Craft Our Vegan Bumbu Bali Paste
We’ll show you how to blend a flavorful vegan Balinese spice paste using only the freshest ingredients in a traditional blender (mortar and pestle). This aromatic base will bring life to several dishes we’ll create together.
Let’s Get Cooking More Vegan Mains
In this part of the class, we’ll use our homemade vegan Bumbu Bali paste to create a variety of mains: a hearty vegan curry, flavorful vegan satay lilit, and crispy bergedel jagung (corn fritters). All deliciously plant-based and sure to be a hit!
Vegan And Vegetarian Dishes
The Sweet Vegan Finale
We hope you’ve saved some space because now it’s time to delve into desserts. We’ll be making vegan versions of “Pisang Goreng” (banana fritters with coconut and melted palm sugar) or “Bubur Injin” (black rice pudding), depending on what’s fresh and available.
Enjoy the Vegan Feast You’ve Made
Take a break to taste and enjoy all the vegan dishes you’ve put together. It’s a feast for the senses!
After we’ve eaten, we’ll make sure you get back to Ubud comfortably.
